In conjunction with the Huntington at Nashua’s Executive Director Andrea Sherwin, Silverstone Living Dining Services Director Lisa Valcourt and the resident Master Campus Planning Advisory Committee (MCPAC), design plans for renovation to our Bistro were unveiled to The Huntington residents.
The committee identified the Bistro as a focal point in the community. Months of planning, resident surveys, focus groups and interviews for designers and contractors resulted in a design plan sure to enhance The Huntington Bistro experience for all. The new Bistro plan will feature a fresh approach to the service flow with non-intrusive staff service access. Increased food station offerings, and a larger sleek salad bar are highlights of this new and exciting design. Announced at the end of October 2018, we now look forward with great anticipation to this project launching in Spring 2019.
In the meantime, our dining service staff prepares to serve daily offerings in an alternate location at The Huntington during the renovation process. The MCPAC remains engaged in the final selection of furniture, fabrics, lighting, and flooring choices to complement the new design.
On your next visit to The Huntington please ask us to see the new Bistro design images posted in our meeting room.
