New Hampshire has its fair share of picturesque towns; there’s an understatement!
The state is filled with quaint communities built in the 18th and 19th centuries, brimming with architectural flair and charm. Many of these towns offer excellent opportunities for short day trips with enough to do to make it well worth the trek.

Meredith, NH, is one of these “must-see” towns. Located in the Lakes Region only an hour and fifteen minute drive north of Nashua, Meredith sits on the famous Lake Winnipesaukee. This charming town has plenty of activities to enjoy over the course of a day including shopping, scenic tours and fishing.

Arts, Crafts and Collectibles

There are many stores featuring antiques and collectibles, as well as an arts and crafts community that celebrates a Lakes Region Fine Arts and Crafts Festival.
