What does it mean to Age in Place?2022-06-09T12:36:28-04:00

Some independent living communities, like a Silverstone Living Community, offer assisted living services and memory care services in the same community. Sometimes these services are offered in the exact same location, other times they are offered within the community but in a separate wing or neighborhood. This continuum of care services means that residents can age in place, without the hassle and headache of finding a new home if needs change over time.

Some independent living communities offer home care services. This allows the resident to bring in a home caregiver for their needs. This offers residents flexibility and can allow them to stay in independent living for longer with a professional caregiver helping them manage their activities of daily living.

Ask us about our continuum of care, our policy on bringing in caregivers, and how our residents can change into the assisted living program from independent living, if they should need additional services. We’re here to help you navigate your future needs.

How do I know your program will be around when I need it?2022-06-07T09:48:00-04:00

It is impossible to guarantee or predict what will happen in the future, but At Home By Hunt is part of Hunt Community, an affiliate of Silverstone Living. Hunt Community, a not-for profit Life Plan Community in Nashua, NH, has been providing seniors with residential based care for over 115 years. At Home By Hunt is now part of a prestigious family of independent living choices that began with the opening of the Hunt Community in 1899 and remains committed to providing another quality option for active adults wanting to live their later years at home.
